Hi! I’m Ankita! I’m currently pursuing a PhD in science & technology communication at CSIR-National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (NIScPR) in New Delhi, India.
In my research, I examine how people perceive the rapidly emerging field of nanotechnology in India to bring different stakeholders into the technology governance process.
I also freelance as a science communicator and writer. I create content exploring various topics like academic publishing, scholarly communications, technology, policy research and researchers’ life beyond the lab bench.

I am a freelance science writer for Editage Insights, a division of Cactus Communications which aims to accelerate global scientific research communications. Both text and graphic write-ups I've produced in the past have been engaging to a range of audiences.

I have created multimedia content and managed social media profiles, particularly Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, for a research institute and a small gardening business. I am well equipped with working knowledge of WordPress and SEO analysis.

I managed a team of fifteen people as an assistant manager in an operations role. I am capable of liaising and communicating effectively with diverse teams and external agencies to run the operations of an organisation smoothly.
